Default Kind deeds.

I was driving home from school today when I spun out of control on some ice and crashed into a snow berm in the ditch. I spent 5-10 minutes trying to get out but my truck was packed into the snow pretty good, I watched as car after car drove by until someone was nice enough to pull over and tow me out. So while driving the rest of the way home I was thinking about how many other people have been in my situation or a similar one.

So... What kind deeds have complete strangers done for you or vice versa?

I cheered some people up

I kicked ass in poker when playing with a couple of people in the lunchroom
And I told them, it wasn't cus they suck
it's because I cheated

And they weren't sad anymore ^.^

they were angry

I was in Istan with my Dervish, this guy came up and gave me a perfect Clockwork Scythe http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Clockwork_Scythe I asked why. He said, "I hope you do the same."

best thing any stranger has done for me was... hold a door open.... but then his kids followed behind me.

On the way back from Games Day (in Birmingham, I live some 5 hour drive to the South East), at about 9 o'clock at night I had the wonderful oppurtunity to be travel sick on the coach. Luckily Big Si nocticed and told the coach driver. He was kind enough to pull into the nearest service station so that my feminity would be safe

I've instilled confidence in my sister's classmates before, people I've never met. Basically they were all fretting about their Triple Science GCSE exams (you get a grade for each area: Biology, Chemistry and Physics and do extra work and exams). My sister told me about this, and I said: "Why're they scared? I never did my coursework, screwed up on the written exams and missed the last paper of each subject*. I got a B in Bio and C in the other two. They'll be fine."; her friends cheered up when she told them that.

*period cramps, green bile and pale-and-shakey. I wasn't in the right frame of mind for an exam that day. Oh, and I didn't study for the exams

While I was pulling out my phone, my $50 bill came up with it and fell without me noticing. Somebody picked it up and gave it to me. I was surprised, really.

That reminds me.

Out and about for lunch, my boyfriend and I stop to get out some cash. I take the hole-in-the-wall, or ATM, next to him and take slightly longer as I check my balance first. When he's done, he steps over to me, we're still chatting at the time, and then this woman gives him a tap on the shoulder. Turns out he'd left his money sitting next to the keypad. We were both surprised and grateful.

Generally nice people are hard to come by these days.

Me and another guy went to the Dragon's Lair mission and joined groups and saw their terrible builds and ruthlessly drummed sense into them. With luck they will keep our advice and have a much easier time in Guild Wars.

I grew up most of my life in L.A. that I've always been used to the code "fend for yourself" there. But in my new home, I had cut class with a friend and drove to the nearest city just to have our own little offical senior day. When on the way back my engine blew and with what luck in an area with no cell phone service what so ever.

Within minutes, I was completely shocked that an ex highway patrol office pulled over and asked us if we needed any help, and even took us home(which was 20 miles away). It may be an ex hi-po and its in their way of life to help one another, but is still bloody surprising and generous to do something like that for a couple rebelious kids like ourselves.
